The trail

The track carries on
where the estate ends

River, royal court, border, villages, mosques: five stages make up the Road of Kings, from the Comoé to Bondoukou, through the Akan and Bron kingdoms of eastern Côte d'Ivoire.

Kita cloth woven in gold, indigo and deep red bands, folded on a carved wooden stool, lit by a single shaft of light.

The trail

Five stages, one at a time

Every node on the trail opens a stage: the Comoé River and its gallery forests, the royal court of Abengourou, the border market of Niablé-Osséikro, the royal villages of the Djuablin, the banco mosques of Bondoukou. The route is never a straight line — it follows the real laterite track.

Three packages

A progression, not a single fixed trip

Découverte stops at Abengourou and the Verger; Royale adds the river and the border, with a night on the way; Grand Est goes all the way to Bondoukou, through all three kingdoms. Pricing for each package is confirmed when you book.

  • I Découverte — Abengourou and Le Verger 1 day
  • II Royale — The river, the royal court, the border 2 days · 1 night
  • III Grand Est — All five stages through to Bondoukou 4 days · 3 nights
